PPRS Sketch Challenge

Well, nothing like getting things done at the last minute! I've been busy with Halloween activities over the last few days with my almost-2-year-old, but did manage to get a card done for this month's sketch challenge at Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. I did a fall themed card - using the Four Seasons clear stamp set, and the Let Your Dreams Take Flight stamp, plus some Tim Holtz Distress Coreordinations cardstock to match the distress inks I used (including some from the new seasonal distress inks set for fall - love these colors!) and some metallic cardstock from my stash.

PPRS Sketch Challenge

Here's my try at this month's Sketch Challenge over at Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. I have decided to challenge myself more regularly with some of these sketch challenges to keep myself creating regularly! The background paper is from the DCWV Luxury Mat Stack, and I used Prickley Pear's Solid Butterfly with Snowflakes stamp and coordinating Believe stamp. I just love these images! I stamped the butterfly in two colors of Distress Ink, and the believe in one of the shades to match. I covered both the butterflys and the word in Rock Candy Distress Stickles, to give it an all over 'shimmer', and accented with rhinestones. Hope this card idea inspires somebody out there!

Made with love by Amy.
My 1st Blog Post! Made this card for the sketch challenge at Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. I used their stamp 'Swanky Witch' for the main image, and the accompaning saying 'If the Broom Fits'. The small bats, cat, etc. are from their clearly beautiful stamp set 'The Four Seasons'. The witch is colored with alcohol inks and accented wth stickles. I used distress inks on the edges of the papers. The papers are by Magenta - these colors just said Halloween to me. The card is also layered with narrow black ribbon, and lace netting behinde the witch image. Hope someone out there enjoys my efforts!
